 Michael joined the firm in October 1986. He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree (1978), with Distinction, from the University of Saskatchewan. He articled with Arthur Andersen & Co. Chartered Accountants (Calgary) and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1982. After articling he was employed as the Corporate Controller for a Calgary-based resource company where he earned his Certified Management Accountant designation, also in 1982. Michael became a partner in July of 1988.
Michael, and his wife Gayle, together with their 5 children, have been living on an acreage southwest of Edmonton since 1994. Michael’s greatest pleasure is enjoying boating and water sports activities with his family on Shuswap Lake, in BC.
